Haapsalu a small town in Estonia, has become widely known all over the world for its hand-knit lacy scarves and shawls. Thanks to the almost two hundred year old tradition of lace knitting, hundreds of wonderful scarf and shawl patterns have been created in Haapsalu and more and more new patterns continue to be born there.
