The material found in Paide is very plentiful- wallpapers have been preserved on the walls of several houses for 100 years or more. There has been little research on wallpapers in Estonia and little is known about the historical interiors of small towns. Therefore, the pattern album and pioneering wallpaper ABC book were born mainly based on the materials found here, in the heart of Estonia-Paide. Based on colourful patterns and hiostorical photos, it is possible to get a more comprehensive overview of the whole interior and living conditions in small towns at the end of 19th century up to World War II.
